In this body of work, I use red cheesecloth or gauze impressions. The monotypes are cut, woven together, sewn into, embroidered onto acrylic, and then suspended. The red gauze-like cloth ebbs and flows across the punctured, paper-thin expanse, symbolizing blood and body in its weak yet beautiful state.
